KOREAN-STYLE BEEF BURGER
Juicy burger dipped in Korean-style BBQ sauce, topped with cabbage slaw and served in a brioche bun. It's juicy and simply delicious! The secret of this burger is umami rich kimchi coconut dip that will put the taste of your Korean-style burger to the next level.

INGREDIENTS FOR KOREAN BBQ SAUCE
1 teaspoon soy sauce
3 teaspoon mirin
2 teaspoons rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
1 teaspoon gochujang paste (Korean red chilli paste)
3 teaspoons honey (or maple syrup)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 teaspoon brown sugar
½ teaspoon minced garlic
½ teaspoon minced ginger
Black pepper
INGREDIENTS FOR BEEF PATTIES
500g beef mince
2 spring onions, chopped
teaspoon minced ginger
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon soy sauce
Black pepper
Salt
Oil for cooking
OTHER INGREDIENTS
4 brioche hamburger buns, toasted
2 cups cabbage slaw mix (finely shredded green cabbage, red cabbage and carrot)
1 cup Living Goodness Kimchi and Coconut Dip
METHOD FOR BBQ SAUCE
• In a small saucepan, add all the sauce ingredients, and stir well.
• Bring it to a boil.
• When it starts to bubble, reduce the heat to medium low, and simmer until it thickens slightly.
• Turn the heat off.
METHOD FOR BEEF PATTIES
• Combine all ingredients for beef patty in a mixing bowl. Season well with salt and black pepper, Mix well. Shape the mix into 4 burger patties.
• Place a skillet over medium-high heat (or you can also grill these outdoors), and once it gets hot, drizzle in a touch of cooking oil, and sear a couple of patty’s at a time for about 3-4 minutes per side; allow the beef patty’s to rest for about 5 minutes.
• Glaze each burger patty in the Korean BBQ Sauce just before building your burger.
TO SERVE
• Heat buns in the oven, then remove and cut in half.
• Place each glazed beef patty into a warm crusty bun.
• Coat each patty with kimchi and coconut dip and top with cabbage slaw.
• Place other bun on top and chow down!
