One of our favourite parts of running Living Goodness, is the chance to head out to food shows across the country to meet you guys. This year, however, we thought we’d branch out a bit and meet a whole new group of foodies at the NZ Fitness & Health Expo!
Good gut health is something we can all benefit from, but especially those with fitness goals they’re working towards! We discussed this a bit more in-depth in our previous blog, but the vitamin C in sauerkraut and kimchi is a major player in repairing muscle tissue that gets damaged from intense exercise. Plus, nothing quite beats having a flavourful dish that still fits your macros!
Being at the show was quite an eye opener, wow some of the muscles! It was great to meet people so dedicated to their health & exercise and discuss the benefits of fermented foods with them.
It’s was wonderful to see how important health and fitness is becoming, and we were blown away by the athletes competing at the event too – just check out this video we shared on our Instagram!
If you want to make health and exercise a priority for yourself, we really encourage you to head along to this event next year – it will be just as much an eye opener for you as it was for us!
