We love when our birthday comes around, because it offers a fantastic opportunity to reflect on all the fun times we’ve had, and cool moments over the past year – and thank all the people who helped make it possible.
As always, first and foremost, we’d like to say a huge thank you to our customers. You guys are quite literally the reason our fermentation drums keep bubbling, and for that we thank you. Now that the acknowledgements are complete, we’d love to mention our top 3 moments that happened over our 3rd year of business.
#1. We are now stocked in 200 stores nationwide.
200 really is an impressive number, and we’re proud to now be available in 200 stores across New Zealand. That means Living Goodness, and a good gut feeling are now more accessible than ever, and that’s truly exciting for us! Having trouble tracking us down at your local? #2. Winning the Healthy Food Guide best in category (kimchi) and highly recommended (Quick Draw Slaw).
We always knew our Sum Yum Kimchi and Quick Draw Slaw were winners, but it’s always good to get a little recognition every now and then. Winning this award was a real highlight for us this past year, and we are proud to be awarded the best fermented option, as well as the highly recommended option.
#3. Working with Hallertau Brewery
If working with Hallertau Brewery on crafting a deliciously pink beer made with our Heartbeet Kraut wasn’t on our bucket list before, we’ve quickly added it – and then crossed it off! This was such a fun project, and it turned out to be a truly delightful beer. If you haven’t tried the Hallertau Brewery Heart Beetkraut Gose make sure you do! How often do you get to drink a pink beer, after all?
Year 3 has been a wild ride, and a lot of fun, and we can’t wait to take on number 4! We hope you’ll join us as we continue on our journey to give New Zealand the best gut feeling ever.
